You are invited to a concert, entitled Her Majesty, the Cello, featuring music for cello and piano by Elena Antontceva in St. Luke's Church, on Sunday, May 24th at 7 pm.

This concert is the second in our series of concerts to raise funds to pay for our grand piano.

About the Musician
Elena Antontceva, a very talented cellist and pianist, is originally from Russia. After graduating from the Far East Academy of Arts in Vladivostok, Russia, she worked at the Symphony Orchestra as both a musician and soloist of the Philharmonic for 25 years in her home city. She had a chance to work as a professor at the University of Art in Vladivostok, teaching young students how to play cello professionally. She participated in international festivals in China, Japan and Korea. She moved to Canada four years ago and continues to perform here.
