Dear Friends, we are saddened to let you know that Lena Jacobs' beloved brother David died this afternoon, following a stay in hospice. Lena is taking some quiet time just now, but has expressed her great appreciation for all the prayers and support she and David have received from the St. Matthias community.
Lena has been in touch with Rev. Colleen and they have agreed there will be a funeral or memorial service on Saturday afternoon September 26th, perhaps at 1 pm at St. Matthias.
As you will, of course do, please continue to keep Lena and her family in your prayers at this time.
