The Twelve Days of Christmas and The Epiphany

The Twelve Days of Christmas and The Epiphany

Paintings by Michael Utgaard

In keeping with our dream of linking the St. Matthias community's love of the arts and our liturgical celebrations, we're delighted to invite you to this new (and very brief!) exhibit from January 4-6, from 10 am - 4  pm in the Chapel.

Please join us to view the original paintings by Michael Utgaard of the 12 Days of Christmas and the "Three Kings" plus a graphic rose window image.

The Epiphany is a quieter and less stressful time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. The paintings and rose window image help us make the transition from the secular to the more spiritual aspect of Christmas and to look forward into the new year and beyond.

The Epiphany gathering on Saturday the 6th at 2:00 PM will feature presentations by the creators, an animated video of the paintings, a sing-along and time to share reflections on the season and the coming year.
