Pastoral Letter from Bishop Anna. "Where We Live: Critical Perspectives on our Built and Natural Environments"

Pastoral Letter from Bishop Anna

Pastoral Letter from Bishop Anna

Update on examples of sacrificial love within our Diocese

Some of you had the opportunity on Sunday to read "hard copies" of Bishop Anna's pastoral letter.  This letter is also available readily on the Diocesan website and on our website, but we wanted to make sure the letter is as widely distributed as possible.

If I (Cory) might take a moment to "editorialize," Diocesan Council met recently at St. John's in Duncan and I was privileged to hear, witness, and talk with many of the participants in one of the examples that Bishop Anna mentions in this letter.  Please know that when she uses the term "sacrificial love," it is truly and beautifully incorporated in that congregation.

Here's another introduction, provided in the Diocesan email distribution:  "Bishop Anna has written a pastoral letter about property development in the diocese. The letter covers the affordable housing developments at St John's, Duncan and Dawson Heights in Saanich, and the sale of the St Dunstan's property."

Please either "click on the link" to read or download the letter.  https://dq5pwpg1q8ru0.cloudfront.net/2025/04/14/17/30/21/4e712e1d-215d-459d-a25d-4980cd775bac/250410.Ltr_PastoralLetter.pdf
