Quick Note: Christmas Decorating Invitation for Sunday, December 8th - After Church

Dear friends, 

We're loving the Advent season, but it's also time to prepare for Christmas.  Yes, we're being VERY gradual in our Christmas decorating!  Last week, wonderful helping hands brought our decorations from the storage area to the church.  

This week, we're inviting all interested active participants PLUS "sidewalk superintendents" to stay after church for a little while (maybe bring a snack or bag lunch if you like) and we'll begin the gentle process of decorating.  

Concept: 

1.  if you have greenery that can be made into swags for the pillars, please bring it.  We'll figure out what we have and arrange it as supplies & skills permit.  

2.  We'll arrange the "not fresh" greenery along the balcony.  (here's where sidewalk superintendents are absolutely critical; is it even, is it lovely?)

3.  We'll figure out how to make copies of the stars for remembrance and send folks home with a few to cut.  

4.  Potentially, we'll arrange the creche (making sure there's a safe & convenient way to walk to & from the communion rail).  

Then, we'll congratulate each other!  Next week, we'll add a bit more, but it always stays simple!
