Correcting a calendar glitch!

Dear Friends, 

We've just realized we had a little challenge with our calendar!  To be clear, we're not moving Shrove Tuesday (Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday).  

St. Matthias will mark the day on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH with pancakes and sausages in the Hall!

As always, we extend a warm welcome to all!  It would be super helpful if you could let us know your plans, either by phoning the office (250.598.2833) or sending an email to admin@stmatthiasvictoria.ca  .  And, just a friendly hint:  helping hands (especially to set up and clean up) are always incredibly welcome!

Shrove Tuesday reminds us that the season of Lent and its special preparation follow.  Ash Wednesday is February 14th; there will be imposition of ashes at 10 am Wednesday morning.  No sign-up required!
